That’s the theme for both hours of “Catholic Answers Live” today. The show can be heard locally on 1310AM Immaculate Heart Radio. It’s also carried on nearly 200 other radio stations and translators across the country (and Guam) — including FM 89.9 with the call letters “WOMB” in Indiana — and online.
The topic alone should be reason for the country and the world to listen, but Phoenix-area listeners have extra incentive. They might be familiar with the expert scheduled for the first hour. It’s Trent Horn. His final day as coordinator of Respect Life Parish Leadership Support for the Phoenix Diocese was Nov. 30 as he left to join the Catholic Answers staff as a full-time apologist.
Horn is also a former staff member of Justice for All, an organization the promotes respect for people with differing views and condemns all abortion-related violence. So his techniques in “training pro-lifers to intelligently and compassionately engage pro-choice advocates in genuine dialogue,” according to his brief online biography, should be worth a listen. He even modeled it one year during a youth and young adult pro-life rally at Arizona State University.
Catholic Answers Live airs live in Phoenix 4-6 p.m. weekdays with replays of taped shows available the following day.
