Donate a $10 gift card (valid at JC Penny, Payless Shoes, Target or Wal-Mart) to St. Joseph the Worker to help homeless clients secure meaningful employment and your donation could triple in rewards (event flyer):
- Reward #1 — Homeless and unemployed clients can buy interview clothes, work attire, tools or other material to make them job ready. Staff could buy similar items to have in stock at its office which includes a multi-faceted clothing closet.
- Reward #2 — Donor receives one raffle entry for each $10 gift card donation to win a $250 US Airways Gift Card for themselves. Don’t forget, donations must be gift cards to JC Penny, Payless Shoes, Target or Wal-Mart.
- Reward #3 — Buy one of these gift cards from a nearby Catholic school through its SCRIP program and the school receives a percentage back.
JC Penny: 6%
Payless Shoes: 13%
Target: 6%
Wal-Mart: 2%
SCRIP office hours during the summer are pretty limited. Call the school nearest you or check your parish bulletin. Ran across OLPH Scottsdale hours as an example.
