“Jackie Evancho: Music of the Movies.” — premieres Aug. 12 on PBS. Check local listing for times and other airdates. The youthful vocalist, a 12-year-old dubbed “the little girl with a big voice,” sings classic songs from the silver screen. A “Great Performances” presentation.

“Immigration.” — 7-8 p.m. Pacific Time Aug. 12 on EWTN and online. On this special, Colin Donovan and EWTN staff members discuss the moral principles surrounding the immigration issue. Part of the series “EWTN Theology Roundtable.”
