High school sports — Football is in full swing and The Arizona Republic will be at several games featuring Catholic school games Sept. 7:
- Seton's game against Tempe Prep will be covered in the newspaper, online and on TV. Seton's Sentinels are 2-0 and ranked fourth in its division.
- Brophy's home game against Mesa's Red Mountain will be covered in the newspaper. Brophy's Broncos are 2-1. More of Brophy football in the news.
- Notre Dame plays Hamilton in Chandler. The two teams just returned from playing in Ireland together. The local match up will be covered in the newspaper. The Saints are 1-1.
