The beautiful Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass, located at 5692 W. North Loop Road, Chandler is the site of the 21th annual Joe Hasulak Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by the Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus. Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14, with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start, the $125-per-player fee includes green fees, golf cart, prize entry and awards luncheon. Additional amenities include refreshments, a Titleist-inspired “goody bag,” distance, putting, closest to the pin contests, raffles, and silent auction. Women players will be eligible for standalone prizes. Sept. 7, 2013 is the deadline for registrations.
The Whirlwind Club dress code applies shirt with collar, minimum mid-thigh shorts and no denim.
This charity golf tournament benefits the Corpus Christi Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization that annually has dispensed financial aid to local charities such as St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, Margie’s Place, The 100 Club of Arizona, Hacienda De Los Angles, Chandler-Gilbert Arc, and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. This year’s major beneficiaries will be St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance – that provides food for the homeless and others in need, and Maggie Place – a community that provides houses of hospitality for expectant women who wish to achieve their goals in a dignified and welcoming atmosphere.
