Students at St. Vincent de Paul School sent the following thank you card to the Catholic Leadership Circle for selecting them as one of five grant recipients.
The Catholic Leadership Circle, a program of the Catholic Community Foundation, allows everyday Catholics to make a concrete difference in the Diocese of Phoenix. Their membership in turn supports locally under-served Catholic organizations via an active role in the grant-making process. Funded projects focus on:
- Arts & Culture
- Evangelization & Sanctity of Life
- Health & Wellness
- Teacher’s Choice & Youth Programs
- Work Among the Poor
The Catholic Leadership Circle awarded grants at a Flip-Flop Soiree May 18. Note the “Pay to the Order of” on each check to see the other recipients. Local Catholics gave away $118,700 to support the Church’s work in their community.
