In a game that came down to the final minutes, the Phoenix Sons (seminarians) secured a 39-37 win over the Church Fathers (priests). Newly installed bishop, Most Rev. John P. Dolan, offered the opening prayer and enjoyed front row seats, bantering with priests and seminarians alike.
The JPII Classic is played every year on the first Friday of August.
