El Obispo Thomas J. Olmsted dijo en su exhortación apostólica “Firme en la Brecha” que, “el hombre católico debe recuperar y vivir la virtud de la masculinidad Cristiana”. Promulgada en la Fiesta de los Arcángeles, el día 29 de septiembre, el Obispo Olmsted pronunció “Firme en la Brecha: Una Exhortación Apostólica a los hombres católicos, mis hijos espirituales en la Diócesis de Phoenix” como un mandato a los hombres católicos para que se preparen para la batalla espiritual sobre sus almas y las de sus familias.
