2ND Annual Seton Classic Trifecta

It’s July. It’s terribly hot! Our classics are safely stored away. We’re changing the oil, checking all our fluids, and polishing them up. We’re waiting for the first car show of the season. And they will not be disappointed.

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church will hold their second, “Seton Classic Trifecta” an event to promote fun, friendship, and enjoyment for parishioners, car collectors and lovers of fine automobiles from hot rods to exotics. The event will take place, Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 8:00 am-1:00 pm, in the parish east parking lot located at 9728 W. Palmeras Drive, Sun City, AZ.

The show is combined with two other events going on simultaneously. But first, we start our day with an outdoor mass in the courtyard of the church at 7:00 AM. Then, in the cool air-conditioned parish hall, a pancake breakfast served by the Knights of Columbus will feature pancakes, bacon, orange juice, & coffee. Also in the Hall, a craft fair with over 20 vendors will be offering their wares just in time for fall decorating. For the classic car attendees, a free Breakfast is offered to the first fifty registered drivers. There will also be a shaded outdoor area to sit and talk about their cars while eating. After 11:00 am, the morning breakfast will change to a hot dog lunch. This year judging will be added to our show, with awards given for ten categories including ladies’ choice. A $20 Registration fee for the cars starts August 29th, at our website: www.setonclassic.com. A $25 dollar fee will be charged on the day of the show. All proceeds of the show will be donated to the Knights of Columbus and our St. Vincent de Paul council. The church is hosting this free event for parishioners, and all who enjoy seeing cars from the classic era, looking for precious items at the craft show, and eating their fill of golden-brown pancakes and all-American hot dogs. Last year 134 cars almost filled the lot, This year, we have space for 200 show cars. Car Owners are encouraged to sign up early to not miss out. Along with our west parking lot alternate parking is available to accommodate the crowds.

Car participants are asked to bring a non-perishable item for our SVdP pantry. All who wish may try their luck with a chance to win one of the many baskets in our raffle, and or win some cash through a 50/50 raffle. Ice-cold water will also be available for entrants of the show. DJ music will feature the music years of the cars; all classics.

This is a free family event. We invite all to come to the 2ND Annual Seton Classic Trifecta, to enjoy the beginning of fall, the community, and all that will be available.
