The Holy Face
Veronica’s Veil is a well known image in the Christian West, and it has a very long and fascinating history. Known over the years as “The Veronica” (translated as “True Image”), “The Holy Face,” “The Mandylion,” and “The Savior Not Made by Human Hands,” this image is believed to be directly connected to the Shroud of Turin, which also has an intriguing story. The image of the face of Christ in the cloth is simple, direct, and powerful. Please join us for a weekend of looking into the Holy Face. No previous experience or innate talent is required. All materials are provided.

We work Thursday evening after dinner, Friday evening after dinner, all day Saturday (9 am – 4 pm), and half-day Sunday (1 – 4 pm). There will be additional times available to work on a second icon for those who are interested. This is completely optional.

Fee: Single, $575 includes meals and lodging; Commuter, $350 includes 2 dinners and 1 lunch. Pre-registration required.
