A Reason for Hope Retreat

The theme “A Reason for Hope” is based on 1 Peter 3:15 that states we should all be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is in us. This retreat will center on discipleship. There will be four speakers sharing how they walk in discipleship with the Lord where God has placed them. The keynote speaker is Lisa Hendey, international speaker, founder of CatholicMom.com, and author of many inspirational books. One of our parish priests will educate us on the Kerygma—the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Attendees will draw their spiritual journey and then practice blending it with the Kerygma. Participants will be asked to find a person they do not know and share the Gospel message with that person.
