To forgive is a CHOICE. It is a heroic CHOICE. To forgive requires great strength. The ability to forgive is not intrinsic. It is an acquired skill, a learned behavior. On many occasions, Divine Intervention is needed.
The forgiveness process has some identifiable common denominators and truisms. Once these are identified and understood, the process becomes easier. Practicing this process leads to a virtue. Byproducts of forgiving leads to freedom, happiness, joy, improved health, peace, intentionality and a strong desire to help others understand and experience the benefits of the process.
We believe that we are prodigal people, who rely on the Grace of God to fully experience the process of forgiveness. Our Father delights when we forgive. Jesus Christ modeled and commanded us to forgive. Grace from the Holy Spirit helps to sanctify us and therefore transforms our hearts and minds so we grow to be a witness to the truth.
We invite you to join us for storytelling, scripture, inspirational personal video testimonies, music, and laughter. Chuck Jansen, founder of the Forgiveness Institute, KC is most grateful to the Holy Spirit, for people and events that have happened these past 9 years. We pray that your hearts will be touched to heal some wounds so that we all can prepare ourselves for the birth of our Savior.
