In a culture where the term “social justice” means a lot of different things to different people, wouldn’t it be great to know what the Catholic Church actually teaches about how we should live in, and contribute to, society?
Well, here’s your chance! On Wednesday, April 30th, from 6:15-7:30pm, at St. Anne in Gilbert, Will Wright, doctoral student and theology teacher at St. John Paul II Catholic high school, will be presenting Catholic Social Teaching – what it is, what it isn’t, and why it matters.
This presentation is a preview of a summer course Will is teaching for the Institute of Catholic Theology (ICT) at St. Thomas the Apostle (see flyer for details), and is presented at St. Anne as part of the Holy Family Institute of Catholic Faith and Life Weekly Wednesday Formation Series (www.holyfamilyinstitute.com for more information, and videos of past presentations).
This event is free and open to everyone, so plan to be there, and bring a friend!
