At the Sea of Galilee our Lord offered the crowd and the disciples what we have come to know as the Beatitudes. ( Mt. 5: 1-12).
In our time together, we will look at the background of the Gospel of Matthew.
The Beatitudes are part of one of the fives discourses of Jesus in Matthew’s Gospel. We will look at each of the nine Beatitudes, what they mean, and how these blueprints/bombshells have the potential to shape our thinking and living.
