Come for one evening or all four!
Compassionate Communication is a experiential series of workshops exploring key topics in self-awareness and Compassionate Communication. This work will be largely informed by Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a communication process grounded in awareness of our human needs — essentially what is most important to us. With this grounding, we are able to express authentically and listen with deep empathy. We are then able to be compassionate to ourselves and others.
The aim of this program is to foster greater self-awareness and facilitate connections between participants in the spirit and practice of NVC. We will use empathetic listening as a means to be deeply seen and heard, to connect with new people and make lasting friendships. Participants will get practical experience with the NVC process and self-empathy practice.
This is a series of independent workshops: 1. Anti Patterns – Habitual Reactions That Block Connection (Jan. 10, 2024) 2. The Practice of Self-Empathy (Jan 17, 2024) 3. Giving Others Empathy (Jan. 24, 2024) 4. Values: The Missing Piece in Nonviolent Communication (Jan. 31, 2024).
FEE $20. per person for single session. Pre-registration required.
To register for all four evenings, please call the Front Desk at 480.948.7460 to register. Fee is $80 for all four evenings.
