Iconography Retreat: A Brush With God

Christ, the Good Shepherd, is a beloved image in the Christian tradition. During our weekend together, we will paint the image of Christ, the gentle shepherd, using a step-by-step process in which everyone will complete their own icon. No previous experience or innate talent is required. We will prayerfully walk through a process that is both disciplined and creative. Since icons come out of prayer and invite people back into prayer; we will endeavor to work in a prayerful atmosphere that is both gentle and contemplative.

We work Thursday evening after dinner, Friday evening after dinner, all day Saturday (9-4), and half day Sunday (1-4). There will be additional times available to work on a second icon for those who are interested. This is completely optional.
