Father Manasseh Lorchir, a priest of the Via Christi society, will lead the Revival and celebrate the Gospel Mass on Sunday, March 19, the Solemnity of St. Joseph.
Father Manasseh currently serves as parochial vicar of St. Benedict Parish in Phoenix. He was born in Nigeria 39 years ago and studied philosophy at St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary Makurdi and Theology at the National Missionary Seminary of St. Paul Gwagwalada. He was ordained a priest June 26, 2010 and worked in various parishes in Nigeria.
He came to the Diocese of Phoenix in July 2021 and has been working at St. Benedict since then. He loves sripture, watching soccer and basketball (he has become a Phoenix Suns fan), and experiencing cultures.
