Everyone, ages 15 through adult, who attends this retreat will find it valuable.

We will explore the issues and questions…
• What existed before creation?
• Why is that important to us?
• A never-ending flow of love
• Why suffering?
• After death – something final that never ends

– Are you religious but feel you may lack a deep understanding of spirituality?
– Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have a genuine personal friendship with the divine?
– Is your life busy but you feel you’re missing something?
– Do worldly things and events leave you dissatisfied or empty?

It will be especially useful for those who have left the church.
– Have you left the church and sometimes feel spiritually unconnected?
– Are you “spiritual but not religious” and still feel that something is missing?

There is no charge, and continental breakfast and lunch are free. Yes, there is such a thing as a free lunch.

We will focus on discovering the hidden reality of the spirit world,
finding ways to inner peace, and developing a personal relationship with God.

The presenter, Deacon Jim Walsh, began studying spirituality 30 years ago, and has presented numerous retreats on spirituality. He was ordained a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church in 2006, and co-hosted a live call-in Catholic talk show on Immaculate Heart Radio for seven years.

So, come! We promise that you’ll discover some things about yourself and God that you didn’t know.
