Meditation with Movement
Experience the health benefits of the centuries-old practices of Qigong and T’ai Chi. These exercise systems, based on Chinese martial and healing arts, engage the body and mind in slow, fluid movement and relaxed, full breathing. Often described as “meditation with movement,” the relaxed breathing and gentle dance-like movements of T’ai Chi serve to calm the mind, improve situational awareness and increased serenity, while improving postural strength, stability, agility and balance.
Class meets January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February 5, 2024.
Fee: $60 for 5-week session. Pre-registration required.
