Please join us in celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the Christmas experience of Saint Francis of Assisi in the little Italian village of Greccio – which started the tradition of setting up nativity scenes in our churches, towns, and homes.
Over the years, we’ve had hundreds of “creches” or, nativity scenes – on display in our Community Life Center from many different cultures and traditions. An exciting collection of diverse and interesting nativity sets on loan from members of the Casa community. The Christmas experience of Saint Francis of Assisi is such an important part of the Franciscan story.
