The spiritual journey is the communal process of being transformed by the Spirit of God to the image of Christ for the sake of others. This retreat will explore this dynamic of the spiritual life. Special attention will be given to the four processes of the journey (awakening, purgation, illumination, and union) the practicalities of living in the present moment, how to understand spiritual darkness, and our resistance to spiritual transformation. This retreat is loosely based upon Albert’s bestselling book, “Catching Fire, Becoming Flame: A Guide for Spiritual Transformation.”
FEE: Single, including lodging $300; Commuter including meals $150. Pre-registration required.
