Come away for a weekend of learning, prayer, and meditation.
Although they met on only one occasion, Buddhist and Catholic monks Thich Nhat Hanh and Thomas Merton found in each other a true brotherhood based on their belief in the relationship between prayer and social action. For both spiritual teachers, mysticism (union) was the ground in which their awareness and responses to peace and injustice was rooted. The more we become aware of the divine within, the more we can realize our interbeing with all humanity. Through presentations, discussions, meditation and prayer, we will open ourselves to the teachings of these two great mentors who embodied what they taught.
